The Hubsan X4 H107C is an updated version of the populair Hubsan X4. This version has a new design, more powerful engine, more payload and a 0.3 MP camera with microSD card slot. It is a very popular entry quadcopter.
All parts are packaged well, so the risk of damage during transport is minimal. Everything you need to start flying is in the box. So let’s go!
My first impression was WOW! The Hubsan X4 H107C looks fantastic, the red color with silver accents plastic body is very nice. I expected a slightly larger quadcopter, but I think this is easier to flight. The build quality is also impressive, for such a small device it’s quite heavy 50 grams with the battery. Measuring about 8cm (3 inches) wide by 5cm (1 inch) tall. If you turn the Hubsan X4 around you can see processor, nice detail. Every part fits neatly together, for details you can check the pictures. Another nice touch on the X4 H107C is the rubber feet at the bottom of the aircraft. They provide some additional shock absorption when landing and should decrease the shock on the frame.
The Hubsan x4 H107C must be charged first 40 minutes, before we can start flying. That’s the normal charging time. If you connect the battery the LEDs flash immediately, the LEDs on the front are blue, so you can clearly see the front of the Hubsan x4 when you are flying in the dark. When you connect the battery and turn on the controller, the Hubsan is ready for takeoff! The Hubsan x4 H107C is easy to fly even for a beginner, this is due to the advanced technology that stabilized the quadcopter automatic. You can fly 7 minutes on a fully charged battery, but you can buy an extra battery for only $5. Hubsan x4 H107C has a very powerful engine that is very useful if you are flying outside with a lot of wind. Of course we have made a few (not always planned) crashes the quadcopter has survived numerous crashes, and the main body of the aircraft has not been damaged. The response time is very fast and he is very maneuverable in small spaces, so you can easily fly inside. If you plan to fly a lot inside we recommended to buy the propeller protectors, it will extend the life of your propellers during crashes.
One of the main improvements of the Hubsan x4 is the added 720×480 resolution 25 frame per second camera. The camera is not very high quality but fun to play with, But for $ 60 – 70 the quality of the video is pretty okay. To start making an video with the Hubsan X4 H107C all you need to do is pop-in a micro SD card in the rear of the quadcopter. When you install the Micro SD card you find a blue LED, if you push the button next to the Micro SD card slot the recording starts and the LED will start blinking red.
The hubsan is a fantastic quadcopter and especially for someone who has never flown before with a quadcopter. Another advantage of Hubsan x4 H107C is that you can easily buy (cheap) spare parts.
